nice picture... i love houses with yard where u can have a bit of yr own nature - flowers... treees and so on... but u know what i was always wonder about... i often saw on TV or pictures houses like yr with such a small fence or without it at all... but how kids are playing on the yard when the road is so near... is it so often such kind of fence is used?

there is a yard in front, and in back of the house.... the kids would normally play in the back. the front yard is more for street presentation anyway. the fence is big enough (1 m) to stop little children from running out in the street. when i bought the house, there was no fence at all. i actually built that fence, and got alot of praise from my neighbours for it. a good parent would supervise the children anyway in case they throw a ball over the fence or something. it is more effective than it looks, and it gives the house an inviting appeal as opposed to a fence 2 m high....
