 Here is one of my favorites.
It is the area just north of where my parents live. We were there to look at the eagles, but only saw them from afar. |

 One of my very favorites..Lidia and her brother and me were just leaving this holy place and I had seen this horse and buggy when we arrived. So it had already caught my eye.
So anyway just as we were leaving I stopped in my tracks coz this buggy was also leaving and I ran up some ways and waited just a few seconds until I had the correct Composition and I shot one frame and this is what I got..

 And on the train to Ternopil ..
I saw this Passenger and I told Lidia to look at him and quickley told her what I was seeing in my minds eye (thinking I had time to explain ) And just then he woke up and I thought my shot was runied..But I watched him for a few minutes and he drifted off to sleep..This time I shut up and got my shot

 Can I put a slightly different slant on this? What is the best photo you've taken that you have lost? Or is it just me that does things like this?
My favourite was one I took of my niece taking a photo of me when she was about 5. It is such a nice natural photo and her smile was great!
so has anyone else lost a really good photo - or should I just take myself off into a corner now and cry? 
Oh, and another photo of what you really don't want to find outside your igloo when you wake up! |

Nice pic Yann - i like Doisneau he's certainly one of the photograph who made the most beautiful photo about people in Paris
Do you remember this song from Renaud dedicated to Doisneau? Check with a gallery of his pics, and you will think it has been written on the same moment...not 40 years later!

 This is one of my fav pictures. I still think it BS the Russian Solders remains had to be moved and so much fighting happend over them being moved. Regardless of your politcal view thes men died in battle and should be given the out most respect. |
